Thank you for choosing Wetta products. We strive to provide you with high-quality products that meet your needs. Please carefully read the following warranty terms and conditions that apply to our products:
1. Warranty Coverage:
- The warranty applies to domestic use only, unless otherwise stated.
- The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended domestic use of the product.
- The warranty period and coverage may vary depending on the specific product. Please refer to the product documentation or contact our customer service department for detailed warranty information.
- Some specific products may be eligible for a lifetime warranty. A lifetime warranty provides coverage for the reasonable lifetime of the product subject to the terms outlined in this warranty document.
2. Warranty Exclusions:
- The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications, or any damage caused by improper handling, storage, or maintenance of the product.
- The warranty does not cover damage resulting from exposure to extreme temperatures, water immersion, fire, natural disasters, or any other events beyond our control.
- The warranty does not cover use of the product in trade or commercial applications unless otherwise stated on the product itself or subject to section 3 (Trade Warranty) of this document. Trade or commercial use refers to the use of the product in a business, professional, or industrial setting, such as for rental purposes, commercial gardening, landscaping services, or any other similar activities where the product is used for non-residential purposes.
3. Trade Warranty:
- Wetta Industries Ltd may provide a warranty for some products when used in a trade or commercial setting. The warranty offered for products used in a trade or commercial setting may vary depending on the specific product and may be up to 12 months. Please contact our customer service department for detailed information regarding warranty coverage for products used in a trade or commercial setting.
4. Warranty Claims Process:
- For any warranty claim the item should be returned to the place of purchase.
- If you believe an item purchased directly through us to be eligible for warranty please email websales@wetta.co.nz with;
- A photo/s of the item clearly showing the item in it's entirety and the issue.
- You name and the invoice number that the goods were shipped with or email confirmation from our webstore.
Our customer service representatives will guide you through the warranty claim process, which may include returning the product for inspection and evaluation. We will usually make any refunds using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. - We reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, whether a defect is covered by the warranty.
5. Warranty Resolution:
- If the defect is determined to be covered by the warranty, we will, at our discretion, either repair the product or provide a replacement of equal or comparable value.
- If the product is no longer available or discontinued, we reserve the right to offer a product of similar functionality and value as a replacement.
- The warranty repair or replacement does not extend the original warranty period or create a new warranty period for the product.
6. Limitations and Liability:
- Our liability under the warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product as stated above.
- We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
- Wetta Industries Ltd will repair or replace any goods which fail to comply with Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
- Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.
- These warranty terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the product was purchased. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
